May 2nd - Interns first day - started on Garden Plans
May 6th - Removed tarps off of garden - Kept the grass down! Interns got Dirty! Thanks to the great donation of tarps from Agricplas. (www.agriplasinc.com)
May 13th - Helping out at the Master Gardener's Plant Sale
May 20th - Planting has started. Thanks for the starts Dean, Linda, Teal Creek Farms and the Polk Co. Master Gardeners!

August 15th - Harvest - Chard, Cabbage, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Tomatoes, Lettuce, Broccoli, Cucumbers, Carrots, Dill
August 22 - The big Cabbage harvest!

August 29 - The Big Onion harvest!
September 2 - Group Project - spreading bark in work area.
September 2 - Tomato! 605 Pounds
September 7th - Got state fair ribbons Kim - Champion for Peppers. Hannah Reserve Champion for her
sunflower. Everyone else got MANY blue and red ribbons.
Sept 9 - Intern last day - made salsa, had too much food!
Sept 12 - The tomatoes are hrere - 430+ pounds
September 19 - 400+ pounds - Dean on vacation so no picture
Sept 26 - Production is winding down - 200 pounds
Oct 3 - Zucchini, Summer Squash, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Onions, Peppers, Chard - Last Harvest!
Oct 7 whacking the garden - Jon's favorite garden day!
